I just got an e-mail from a couple in Pasadena who decorate their home for Halloween every other year - on the odd-numbered years, to be precise. This is a one-night-only haunt, starting at dusk on October 31.

We have not seen this one, so we cannot vouch for it, but it sounds nice. The owners promise "an elaborate transformation" of their house.
